Harponline do them www.harponline.de and anything else Hohner related you
might need but you may be able to find a source for the screws in the states
but it might give you an idea of what to look for. Although if you bulk buy
you might be able to save on the postage and you won't have to pay German
VAT, so knock 19% off the advertised price.
Harponline now sell a small brass screw which i find i prefer to a nut and
bolt system which is what i used to use, especially for replacing chromatic
reeds because i can nip off the end of the screw with a pair of pincers and
grind it down a bit and it means you can make the valves sit a bit neater.
Please don't assume from this that i enjoy harmonica maintenance or that I'm
any good at it, I hate it, it's just a necessary evil if you want to play
the harmonica and avoid bankruptcy.

Further to Ken's screw question:
What's the cheapest way, source, etc. to purchase screws suitable in size
to replace Hohner diatonic reedplate? I'm thinking in terms of buying 50
to 500 at a time ... or whatever is the most econcomic
How about ones with nuts for either cover or reed plates?
What(which) size(s) works best?
Thanks.
